Folklore Bolster Pillow
With its bright ribbons, rich red denim, and white piping, this bolster reminds us of a cozy Scandinavian sweater. Learn the steps for end-to-end button tufting. You’ll need a long needle and the ability to squish.
Double Sided Picnic Blanket with Carry Wrap
One side is cotton sateen, the other laminate, quilted together with polyester batting sandwiched between. We also created a clever carry wrap with shoulder straps. Fold and roll the blanket, wrap and Velcro® closed, and off you go.
Flower Girl Fabric Basket
Perfect for a rustic wedding! We combined five very different fabrics for an awesome blend of color and texture: from rich cotton to frothy tulle to ruched taffeta. There are even accent roses in silk dupioni with burlap leaves.
Large Cedar Sachets
We took the idea of a traditional closet/drawer sachet and super-sized it. Make it as a simple pillow-like design for the drawer or add a ribbon loop to stash on a closet rod or hanger. We filled ours with aromatic cedar shavings.
Flower Vase Skirts
I always seem to have a cabinet full of plain glass flower vases. This fast and easy project is a great way to dress up those vases with pretty fabric skirts, turning them from dust collectors into beautiful flower stem vessels.
Chic Ottoman Slipcover
Ottomans tend to get a lot of use, which means a lot of feet, which means they can start to look shabby. Why buy new when you can make a simple cover? S4H to the rescue! Give your favorite ottoman a new lease on life.
Chocolate Bunny
He’s a long-lasting alternative to his candy kin. A sugar-free, huggable rabbit is a fun addition to any Easter basket. Plus, no more dilemma over whether to eat the ears or tail first! A super beginner-friendly stuffable!
Tablecloth Set: Fringed Underlay + Pom-Pom Overlay
Experts recommend layers when dressing for winter; we felt this advice should extend to winter table top dressing. Our holiday tablecloth set has two layers: a plain fringed underlay + a patterned overlay with poms as corner accents.
Grand Pinwheel + Pom-Pom Tree Skirt
This large, lush tree skirt is over four feet square; grand enough for Christmas morning’s bounty of pretty packages. The pinwheel design is a patchwork classic, simple and sweet. For a bit of whimsy, add giant poms to each corner.
Ruffled + Reflective Trick or Trick Tote Bag
Surveys say ghosts, ghouls, and well-dressed witches overwhelmingly prefer a beautiful bag. Raw-edged ruffle strips decorate both sides along with a bright strip of reflective tape to catch the beam of a headlight or flashlight.
Organza Flower Tutorial
Add a romantic touch to hair accessories, pillows, or as a pin on a sweater or jacket. You could even fill a bowl with these flowers as a gorgeous centerpiece. They’re super easy and take just tiny scraps of fancy fabric.
Heart Shaped Sachets
Hang one or more fragrant sachets in a closet, hook on a doorknob, or slip into the lingerie drawer. Their taller, tapered shape is reminiscent of sachets spotted in French boutiques. We made ours with charm squares and scraps.
Spooky Charm Pack Table Runner
Are a host of Halloween goblins headed your way? Roll out this fast and easy runner to spread out your goodies in style. The simple patchwork is made up of forty 5″ squares for a colorful grid of stripes, dots, bats, and spiders.
Patchwork Table Topper with Vintage Button Trim
A classic nine-patch center shows off a beautiful selection of vivid, large motif quilting cottons. The border all around features rows of vintage buttons, and bright corner tassels add an extra special finishing touch.
